 Fantastic RIO turkey hunting at CHR in April and May.  On a scale of hard to easy....our hunting is easy with a near 100% kill opportunity on the first bird.  We hunt secluded timber from ground blinds with great success.  If you are new to turkey hunting or a seasoned old pro, let me show you  why so many hunters come to KANSAS in the Spring. 

Few things come close to the Kansas Whitetail Rut in November.  Those hunters that bring there A-game and are willing to put in the time, will see some really nice bucks in daylight hours.

Families from all over have come to relax and fish on the banks of our pond..  Historic landmarks and day trips await. Local to our area are Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Area , Quivira National Wildlife Refuge and Fort Larned National Historic Site.

You will feel right at home in our secluded hunting lodge overlooking a fully stocked fishing pond.  Wildlife can be seen all hours of the day from the comfort of our living room.

 ​We use the lodge year around, so if you don't hunt and just want to camp in style, fish, bird watch, pick sandhill plums in June, or whatever.....we have the weekend getaway package of $150/night for two adults and up to two kids stay free. 

Our kitchen is fully functional and ready for cooking.  Our lodge sleeps  5 very comfortably and has a clean shower for the end of the day's hunting. If your hunting or simply bird-watching, you'll be right at home.

There’s nothing quite like the outdoors. But, when you need a warm comfortable place to lay your head after a long day afield.....our lodge has all the comforts of home.

A fully furnished clean kitchen, beds sleep four, living and dining room, toilet/shower, heat/air, covered porch, grill, fire-pit, and bass pond.  

Our lodge is located on a secluded off road private property, surrounded by cedar trees.  You can literally "hunt from the porch". 

For hunters that prefer to eat lunch and dinner out....Mom's Cafe in Seward, KS is three miles from our lodge.​
